Just Launched! Dominion KX II 8-port model
|
The new Dominion KX2-108 has 8 server ports, one remote user and one local port, the product is ideal for customers with small racks with 8 and fewer servers. The KX2-108 contains all Dominion KX II features, including dual power supplies, virtual media and Absolute Mouse Synchronization. It provides full functionality, including virtual media, under CommandCenter-Secure Gateway management or standalone.
The product extends the KX II product line into the "mid-market" space and is broadly applicable to enterprise, mid-market and ROBO market segments:
 Small racks in enterprise or SMB data centers
Small racks outside the data center, i.e. closets, labs, cubes
Software development and test labs
Applicable remote and branch office opportunities.

The KX2-108 may be applicable to certain ROBO opportunities requiring up to 8 KVM connections with 0 to 2 serial ports. Serial is supported via the P2CIM-SER "serial CIM" which converts a serial session to a KVM session.
The KX2-108's US list price is $1,995, one thousand dollars less than the KX2-116. More information will be sent to you as the launch date draws closer.
