Administrative Assistant

Microset Systems Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant.

The ideal candidate for this position must have an understanding of general Administrative duties. The candidate must be able to thrive in a small office environment, while offering support to the Sales team, and looking out for improvement.

Proficiency with computers, particularly the Microsoft Office software suite, and professional communications skills are a must.

The candidate will be focus oriented and work either independently or within a group environment, ensuring that all deliverables and deadlines are met, in a detailed and organized manner. Time management and prioritization skills are essential.

The candidate must enjoy being the "hub" of the organization, thrive on effective collaboration and teamwork, and must take every possible measure to support internal and external Sales teams.

Additional skills include, but are not limited to, database management, wherein customer information is managed within a Web-based database.

The hired applicant will report directly to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Management of vendor relations, including purchases
  • General accounting, banking, billing functions, and invoicing
  • Database management and reporting
  • Range of secretarial and administrative duties
    • Typing memos, letters, reports, maintaining calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, filing, manage and keep records of meetings and phone duty

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of office support, in a sales related environment
  • Some accounting experience, credit management, accounts receivable, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (or other CRM)
  • Experience in data management and reporting
